DIGITAL ARTWORK FOR EL MADRILEÑO COVER.
 

This graphic design and photography project is a nostalgic nod to the iconic 'El Madrileño' cover, the 2020 album released by C.Tangana. Where I pay homage to the Spanish artist's use of 50s and 60s folklore and South American imagery by taking it back to the vibrant and revolutionary 'La Movida Madrileña' movement that took place in Madrid during the Spanish transition to democracy.

 

Inspired by the photographers of the time, Alberto García-Alix, Pablo Perez Minguez (P.P.M) and Miguel Trillo, our project brings to life the energy and spirit of the counterculture movement that defined a generation, paying tribute to the past and bringing it to the present through a unique blend of graphic design and photography.
